From the water we have the chance to see how many ordinary Cambodians live in the floating villages along both sides of the river and Tonle Sap Lake. At Angkor we have 3 whole days to explore the complex; from the splendour of Angkor Wat to the enigmatic faces of the Bayon and the haunting Ta Prohm temple, enveloped in the clutches of the jungle. Today we board the 5hour hydrofoil to Siem Reap. From the water we can see how many ordinary Cambodians live in the floating villages. This afternoon we start our discovery of Angkor with a visit to the Rolous group, the ancient capital of the 9th century.

This morning we visit Angkor Thom – “the World of Gods” that includes South Gate, the famous Bayon and Elephant terrace. In the afternoon we visit more sights in the before making our way to the hill top temple of Phnom Pakheng to watch the sunset over this timeless land.
