Detailed Itinerary:
Meet on your arrival at the international airport in Phnom Penh by Asia Tour Advisor’s guide and transfer to hotel. Eenjoy Phnom Penh city tour; visit the Victory monument, and the National Museum, also called by the Museum of Fine Arts. A French archaeologist and artist, Georges Groslier, designed it in 1917 in Khmer style. The museum contains a collection of Khmer art, especially sculpture from all eras. Visit the Royal Palace of King Norodom built in 1866 on the grounds of the old city, and the Silver Pagoda located in the royal palace, called the Silver Pagoda, because there is a floor of 5000 silver tiles. Other treasures, which you will see are a Buddha made of solid gold and weighing 90 kilograms and a small emerald Buddha from the 17th Century, and baccarat crystal Buddha. Your tour ends this afternoon with the visit of Wat Phnom, Phnom Penh's namesake. Have dinner at a local restaurant and stay overnight at the hotel.

Transfer to Phnom Penh International Airport and departure by Cambodia Angkor Airs or similar carrier to Siem Reap. Arrive at Siem Reap's international airport and transfer to hotel. Then visit to the Roluos group, the Monuments of Roluos, the capital of Indravarman the I. (ruled 877-889), are among the earliest large and permanent built Khmer temples and mark the beginning of classical Khmer art. Preah Ko erected by the king Indravarman the I. in the late 9th Century and consecrated in 880 his ancestors. Bakong the largest and most interesting temple of Roluos Group, with his active Buddhist monastery in the north of the eastern entrance. Lolei built on a small island in the middle of a large water reservoir (now rice fields) by the Yasovarman I, the founder of the first city at Angkor. Have lunch at the hotel. In the afternoon you will continue your tour with other temples. Including Prasat Kravan with unique brick sculptures, Srah Srang (“the pool of ablutions"), certainly in the past used for ritual bathing, Banteay Kdei, surrounded by four concentric walls, the East Mebon, guarded at its corners by stone elephants, some of which are still preserved in reasonable condition and Pre Rup, the mountain temple where we will enjoy the sunset. (10.-century). Regard as the crown jewel of classical Khmer art. Continue to visit to Banteay Samre, one of the most complete facilities in Angkor, above all, because of the restoration by the method of "Anastylosis. Samre, the name refers to an ethnic group of mountain people from the region at the base of Phnom Kulen inhabited and are probably associated with the Khmer. Affter breakfast at the hotel, visit the most famous of all temples on the plain of Angkor, Angkor Wat. The temple complex covers 81 hectares and is comparable to the Imperial Palace in Beijing. Its distinctive five towers glory on the Cambodian flag and a masterpiece of the 12th Century. Art historians describe him as a prime example of classical Khmer art and architecture. Angkor Wat's five towers symbolize Meru, the five peaks; the enclosing walls represent the mountains at the edge of the world and the surrounding ditches the sea. Have lunch at the hotel. Visit the South Gate with its huge statues and the ancient capital of the 12th Century, Angkor Thom. We continue to see the Bayon Temple (unique for its 54 towers with over 200 smiling faces of Avalokitesvara paid), the royal residence, Phimeanakas, the Terrace of Elephants and Terrace of the Leper King. Enjoy sunset at Angkor Wat. Have dinner at a local restaurant and stay overnight at the hotel.

Have breakfast at the hotel, then drive to the remote Beng Mealea temple through the typical Khmer countryside (60 km from Siem Reap). Explore this long-abandoned temple in the 11th Century, surrounded by the jungle. Packed lunches are provided. Another hour's drive brings you to Koh Ker, northeast of Siem Reap. Discover the long abandoned temple in the forests of northern Cambodia. Chok Gargyar served if it is known as the capital of the Jayavarman IV (reigned 928-942). His son and successor of Harshavarman I moved the capital to Angkor in 944. There are a remarkable number of religious buildings in the Koh Ker region, given the short time that it was the capital of the empire. There are more than 30 major structures and experts believe there may be up to 100 smaller churches in the region. It was also a prolific period for the creation of huge sculptures and some of the finest pieces in the National Museum in Phnom Penh are from Koh Ker, including a large Garuda (a creature half human, half) bird. Back to Siem Reap and have dinner at a local restaurant and stay overnight at the hotel.
